Hamburg, April 12, 2024 – WISTA Germany, the international network for women in the maritime industry, has launched the new WISTA Associates programme this year. Aspiring young women starting their careers as trainees, apprentices or students can network with industry experts and managers right from the start.

WISTA Associates offers young female professionals a network in which they get to exchange ideas and network with over 200 successful women in the shipping industry. The aim is to sharpen their own profile and receive mutual support through targeted networking.

“We are delighted to be able to offer young female colleagues in our diverse and international industry a collaborative start and excellent networking opportunities with WISTA Associates,” explains Franziska Eckhoff, President of WISTA Germany.

For a greatly reduced annual fee of 60 euros, WISTA Associates can take part in numerous WISTA Germany events. They also receive access to the online platform, can participate in project groups and can benefit from the cooperation and experience of the members.
